Could your team help run our new Friday ‘Compassionate Café’ service? Operating from our centre at Unity Park Station in CMK, it provides a hot lunch and a chat for anyone experiencing or at risk of homelessness in Milton Keynes.
We are looking for teams of around 5 volunteers who are happy to run the café service, supported by one of our team, between 10:30am and 1pm on a Friday.
The sessions will involve:
Heating up and providing simple food ie. soup, bread, beans on toast etc. in the kitchen 
Taking orders at the table and then bringing our guests their meals 
Cleaning and tidying the kitchen areas 
Talking to our guests 
Lending a hand with our other tasks such as sorting donations and helping with laundry. For more information or to ‘book’ your team in please contact operations@unitymk.org
