Churches Together in Milton Keynes

We are a network of Christian communities in Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas. We are working together to show God’s love to the Borough and City of Milton Keynes.

Our current priority is to build a strong network of committed member congregations.

We have a particular concern with Poverty, Climate Justice, Refugees, Racial Justice and Mental Health.

Hack Days - Cost of Living / Water Security / Transport

A Hack Day is a collaborative event where people work together on a project in a short period of time. Hack days, also known as a hackathon, are often used to develop new approaches to problems. They want to take action to build local resilience.

MKDE and Transition Town MK will host three of these hack days during Q1 of 2025 using the Doughnut Economics lens on different topics. Your input will identify 'what we collectively know' about a topic, and contribute towards an update of the Doughnut Portrait of Milton Keynes - take a look at the Demonstrator Video to see what they have in mind for the next version.

The 3 sessions are:

Wednesday 8th January - Cost of Living

Wednesday 5th February - Water Security

Wednesday 5th March - Transport
